Gary is a Bostonian. Grew up in Revere, high school & college in Boston, lived in Boston, Brookline and Metro-West, and spent lots & lots of time in Cape Cod (Gary lives full time in Mashpee).
Gary was a major account sales executive for young and rapidly evolving software companies. Complex sales, strong negotiations, financial justifications and out-of-the-box deal structuring all combined with a relentless focus on providing the best service drove countless awards for exceeding sales goals and customer satisfaction. The one consistent thread running across his successful transactions - “relationships”, people work with people, the combination of trust, honesty and communications are essential ingredients. Add to that the technology prowess Compass brings to the market and it is a winning combination.
Gary is partnered with his wife - Beth Shuman. Beth has many years of successful real estate experience and leads the team. In their personal life they have bought & sold & moved many times and know first hand the value of a great agent experience vs a less than great experience. They personally pledged to make sure all their clients - buyers, sellers and investors have a great experience and become active at recommending their team to friends and associates. Referrals & recommendations are a key part of their growth strategy and positions them for the future. Beth and Gary will be focused on helping people find or sell their place - in the Cape or in Boston.

Gary attended Wentworth Institute of Technology (Architectural Engineering Technology), graduated from University of MA (Economics & Political Science) and received an MBA from Northeastern Graduate School of Business. His free time - family, cooking, learning photography, reading and travel. He also volunteers locally to help support community service and is an avid motorcycle rider (current ride - R1200GS).
